đź‘‹Welcome!

I appreciate your interest in the Siena Hat pattern and the test knit process!

About this pattern…

The Siena Hat is a stylish and cozy accessory perfect for winter. It gets its name from the fleece harvested from alpacas named Siena and Michelangelo at the Island Alpaca Farm in Martha’s Vineyard, MA. This incredibly cozy, bulky-weight yarn is showcased beautifully by combining it with a textured stitch pattern that creates a fancy, twisted design. The Siena Hat starts with a 3x2 Rib and continues with a slipped stitch pattern until reaching the crown decreases, which are worked in stockinette stitch. If you can knit in the round, slip stitches purlwise, and decrease stitches using K2tog, SSK, and P2tog you will have no problems knitting this hat.

The Siena Hat has been fully tech-edited.
