đź‘‹Welcome!

I appreciate your interest in the Garter Me cardigan pattern and the test knit process!

About this pattern…

Garter Me is a cozy and comfortable project designed for relaxation. The use of garter stitch gives this garment a contemporary and relaxed vibe, making it easy to knit and wear. Whether on cold winter days or cool summer nights, Garter Me will be your best friend.

This mid-length, drop-shoulder sweater is knit flat from the bottom up with no waist shaping. The fronts and back are separated for armhole shaping, and stitches are then picked up at the armholes to knit the sleeves in garter stitch in the round. The result is a mindless, garter stitch cardigan with roomy patch pockets for your reading glasses, cell phone, keys, or hands.

Garter Me knits up quickly using DK or worsted-weight yarns, making it an excellent project for knitters who want to sit back, relax, and knit. It's a feel-good garment that you won't want to take off.
